Portugal captain, Cristiano Ronaldo has picked Brazil as the team he wants his team to meet in the final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The 2022 FIFA World Cup will kick off in Qatar this weekend and Portugal is among the favourites to win the tournament.
Portugal head coach, Fernando Santos, has an impressive squad at his disposal, including the likes of Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes, Ruben Dias and Bernardo Silva.
Portugal will begin their World Cup campaign in Group H with their opener against the Black Stars of Ghana on 24 November.
Santos’ men will also tackle Uruguay on 28 November and South Korea on 2 December.
“I hope so, I joke with Casemiro and say the final will be Portugal vs Brazil, wow, it would be a dream…It is the World Cup, I am dreaming, I know it will be difficult,” Ronaldo told LiveScore.
He added, “The weather for me, isn’t the issue, we are prepared as professional players and we are capable of playing in all conditions. I prefer to play in warm weather.”
