USA legend Eric Wynalda believes Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic should join Premier League rivals Newcastle United.
According to Wynalda, Pulisic needs to be at a club where he gets more game time.
Pulisic has not really impressed since he joined Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund for £58million back in 2019.
The American scored eleven goals in his first season at Chelsea but has failed to reach double-digits since the 2019-2020 campaign.
Pulisic has also found himself on the periphery over the past year, starting just three of Chelsea’s 12 Premier League matches this season, and Wynalda insists Pulisic needs to be playing more regularly for the west London club, adding that he ‘would not mind’ if the player left Chelsea for Newcastle.
“Long-term, Christian Pulisic needs to be a left-winger in a team where he’s going to get more game-time,” Wynalda told VegasInsider.
“I would not mind seeing Pulisic wearing the black and white stripes of Newcastle United.”
