Akwa United head coach Fatai Osho has said his players are now adapting to his style of play.
Osho assumed his role as head coach of the Promise Keepers in June after leaving Rivers United.
The former Nigeria Professional Football Champions had a poor outing at the Naija Super 8 tourney in July, a few weeks after his arrival.
Things have, however, taken a different shape in recent weeks, with Akwa United winning their last two friendlies against Heartland and Rangers.
“We have achieved a lot tactically and psychologically in the last few weeks, as is evident in our recent results,” Osho told the club’s official website.
“We have kept two clean sheets against two good teams, and in my assessment of the two games, we are solid defensively in the middle; we are compact going forward; we are dangerous, and that is commendable. We have to keep working hard to ensure we are fully ready before the start of the new season.”
