Nigerian military winning war against insurgents – Ndume

‎Former Senate Whip, Ali Ndume, has said that the Nigerian military with its new collaboration with the United States, has shown visible improvements with its war against insurgents.

‎Speaking during an interview on Arise Television’s ‘Prime Time’ monitored by DAILY POST on Wednesday, Ndume said regardless, the military still needs training, equipment, motivation, and ammunition.

‎According to him, the Nigerian Armed Forces has been able to go into the 3 black spots: Sambisa, Mandara Mountain, and the Lake Chad region.

‎“The handicap of the military is still the same thing that I’ve been talking about, but the situation has changed and also improved.

‎“But it is not over until it is completely over. Now the dry season has set in and that means visibility in the North is clearer.

‎“This new collaboration, intelligence sharing, and even to some extent, equipment support with America has enabled the Nigerian Armed Forces to go into in the North East.

‎“There is visible improvement in terms of the war against the insurgents, but they still need what I call team training, equipment, motivation and ammunition,” he said.
