Nigeria Launches Major Financial Literacy Initiative for Youth

The Federal Government has announced a new initiative aimed at equipping 100,000 Nigerian youths with essential financial skills each year.

The program, a collaboration between the Federal Ministry of Youth Development and Investonaire Academy, offers free training in financial literacy, global trade, entrepreneurship, and investing.

​This strategic move is designed to empower young Nigerians, providing them with the tools needed to navigate the complexities of the modern financial world. By boosting access to financial education, the initiative seeks to improve employability, transform lives, and foster sustainable wealth creation nationwide.

​Participants will engage with a comprehensive curriculum that covers various global asset classes, including commodities, gold, equities, and foreign exchange. The training will also delve into key areas like risk management, portfolio development, and wealth-building strategies. Upon completion, graduates will receive an industry-recognized certificate, which is expected to support both career advancement and entrepreneurial endeavors.

​The program will be delivered through an engaging Learning Management System (LMS) that utilizes interactive and gamified elements, such as simulations, quizzes, and real-world trading scenarios. While online registration is open to all, in-person training sessions are set to begin soon in Abuja, with plans for expansion to other states.

​The initiative is open to all Nigerian youths, including students, NYSC members, entrepreneurs, job seekers, and young professionals. Registration is free and can be completed online at www.investonaire.org.
