Lobi Stars have dedicated their victory against Abia Warriors to the victims of the Otukpo bank robbery.
The Pride of Benue defeated Abia Warriors 2-0 in the matchday four Nigeria Premier Football League encounter at the Lafia Township Stadium.
The encounter, earlier billed for Saturday, was postponed to Sunday, October 22.
The Vice Chairman of the club, Dominic Iorfa, said the victory would act as a relief for the entire people of Benue who were thrown into mourning by the incident.
Iorfa prayed to God to grant the souls of all the departed eternal rest and for the quick recovery to the injured.
The result moved Lobi Stars to second position on the NPFL table with eight points following the win.
