Kogi State Hajj Commission holds first meeting with Pilgrims in Makkah

The Kogi State Hajj Commission officials on Thursday held it’s first meeting with pilgrims from the state in the Holy city of Makkah since their arrival from Madina.

The officials emphasized the importance of Nsuk, Identification cards issued by the Saudi authorities as well as the wrist band.

Pilgrims were advised to always be with the two items to avoid embarrassment with the Saudi security, adding that without the Identification cards, they will not be allowed to enter buses to Muna.

While those who already lost theirs were advised to report to state officials for possible liaison with Saudi authorities for replacement.

The meeting also warned pilgrims from wandering around and traveling to Jeddah as the process of entering Makkah may be difficult.

Relief came the way of the pilgrims that lost their money as Kogi pilgrims and officials rallied support by donating to those who lost their money.

The officials noted that the pilgrims are doing well and going about their religious obligations.

The meeting was attended by the Amirul Hajj, Siyaka MomohJimoh Usman, and the Chairman of the Commission, Sheikh Luqman Imam Abdullahi.
