West Ham captain, Declan Rice “can’t wait” to complete his move to Arsenal and has described Mikel Arteta as “magic”, according to former Liverpool midfielder, Danny Murphy.
Murphy, speaking on FIVE, claimed he met Rice outside a cafe and spoke to him about his imminent transfer to the Emirates.
“I’ve got to say, it’s worth saying I saw Dec on Sunday at the cafe.
“He was outside, I popped out to see him, I was just ordering a full English, actually.
“And we were chatting, and he was buzzing. He couldn’t wait to get to Arsenal. He said Arteta was magic when he met him,” Murphy said.
Rice is set for his medicals with Arsenal after they agreed a £105million with the Hammers.
The transfer will make the England midfielder the most expensive English player of all time.
