Ex-Manchester United defender, Gary Neville, has insisted Arsenal will not win the Premier League title this season.
According to him, the Gunners will finish in the top four, but “fall behind Man City”.
Arsenal are currently top of the table with 34 points, two more than City.
But speaking on his Sky Sports podcast, Nevill said: “I do think they’re bang on to finish in the top-four.
“I think they will fall behind Man City by some distance but that would be no shame.
“If they finish second that would be a magnificent achievement for Mikel Arteta.”
Arsenal face Wolves next in the league before the World Cup break, while City take on Brentford.
If Arteta’s men pick up three points at the Molineux, they would be top of the table by Christmas.
