Etsu Nupe and Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar has congratulated the Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago over the successful conduct of Local Government Council elections in the State.
He stated this when he led Kingmakers and other traditional title holders under Bida Emirate on a courtesy visit to the Governor at the Government House Minna.
The Etsu Nupe described the local government elections as peaceful, fair, and credible and assured the Governor of the Emirate’s continued support in his developmental strides.
He also pledged to continue to pray for the success of the present administration at all levels and applauded the administration for the provision of dividends of democracy to the citizenry.
Farmer Governor Umaru Bago in his response, appreciated the Etsu Nupe for the visit and for his advice at all times.
He used the medium to reiterate that the welfare of the residents of the state is his priority and pledged to fast-track the growth and development of the state.
The farmer Governor equally reassured the traditional rulers of his continued support as he considers them as critical tools of development.
He prayed that Allah continues to give the Etsu Nupe more wisdom and long reign on the throne.
