Ebonyi South: Further Ungodly,Illegal Attempt to Petition, Expel and Discredit Princess Ann Agom-Eze

This is to alert the general public of the further evil design by the Ebonyi State government and the State Party Executive of the All Progressive Congress ( APC) Ebonyi State Chapter to petition, expel and discredit Princess Ann Agom-Eze. They have made every effort to portray her in bad light both in the party, INEC and other related organs of the government.

All the party Executives of Umudomi ward have been under house arrest at Igboke’s house in Abakaliki (as we speak) the current Chairman of Onicha Local Government. All efforts to reach them has proved abortive.

Their crime is their refusal to sign documents to discredit an Igboeze Onicha daughter, Princess Ann Agom-Eze,the APC Ebonyi South Senatorial hopeful especially as the case is pending before the Court of Appeal.Recall that the Federal High Court sitting at Abakalilki ruled in her as the duly – elected candidate of the APC Ebonyi South Senatorial District Candidate/ These attempts stand in the way of justice, fairness and equity and could amount to disregard of the rule of law.

The Ward Chairman, the Secretary and the Treasurer have been invited to Abakaliki since morning and they have been put under house arrest. They were invited under the pretext of being paid their arrears of salary. The question here is how come is only Umudomi ward that is being paid?

This illegal detention by State authorities is geared towards forcing the APC Umudomi Ward executives to sign a petition against Princess Ann Agom-Eze.

The matter between Princess Ann Agom-Eze and the Governor is before the Court and ought to be settled there.

Why is she being hunted? Why is the party insisting on writing a petition against her just because of her aspiration? This is politics. Let us be careful with whatever action the party is taking against a party member, who has been there long before the Governor joined the party.

The Ward has put up their position but the Party is forcing them to suspend her against their will.
We are urging the public to know what is happening today 10 August 2022.
