Dio Maisamari Is A Capable Hand To Lead SOKAPU – Youths

The Youth Wing of the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU) has congratulated Mr Dio Maisamari on his assumption of office as the President of the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union stating that he is a capable hand to lead the union.

Elanza News reports that Maisamari took over the reign of SOKAPU following the decision of its former President, Hon Jonathan Asake to pursue his lifelong political ambition.

But a statement issued by the youth leader of SOKAPU, John Isaac Sirjay, said they are confident that with Mr Maisamari as President, the Union will not deviate from its ideals of aggregating, promoting and articulating the Southern Kaduna interest.

“While we wish Honourable Jonathan Asake all the best in his political sojourn, we want to assure members of the public that the Youth Wing has been and shall in conformity to the constitution (“Subject to the provisions of Section 8 of this constitution, and the provisions of the Union’s Charter, SOKAPU shall not be a politically and religiously partisan organisation”) of our great union remain nonetheless non partisan, unbiased and a neutral socio cultural platform committed to the struggles of Justice, fairness and equality for the hard working, peace loving people of Southern Kaduna.

“To this end our doors shall remain opened to all well meaning individuals, groups, and political parties in and across the state and the nation at large, ” the youth added.
