Peter Nwachukwu, the husband to the late Ekwueme coroner, Osinachi has been sentenced to death by hanging.
Nwachukwu was sentenced to death by Justice Nwosu-Iheme of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The sitting at Wuse Zone 2 found Nwachukwu guilty of homicide which led to the death of his wife on April 8, 2022.
Delivering judgement on the matter, the judge said the prosecution proved beyond reasonable doubt that the defendant committed the crime.
