Corruption cannot be compromised: Hasnat Abdullah

Mr. Hasnat Abdullah, convener of the Bangladesh Chatro Boysomo andolon Movement, said that the nation will move forward if everyone is vocal against corruption. Therefore, we cannot compromise with corruption.

We do not want talented people to drop out. If talented people continue to drop out, then incompetent rulers will start ruling the society. You will notice that incompetent powerful people are made presidents of mosque committees, where chairs have to be given.

He said these things at the Milad and Fayyad ceremony of the 2025 Dakhil candidates of Nagaish Faizia Razzakia Islamia Dakhil Madrasa in Brahmanpara Upazila, Comilla district, Bangladesh on Monday afternoon.

Mr. Hasnat Abdullah said that we retreat from the truth due to small fears in the world. The people who did not back down from the truth despite knowing that they would be taken to the mirror room, imprisoned, taken to jail, and their family members would be at risk of death, the few people in Bangladesh who did not back down from the truth, maintained a strong voice, and never compromised with injustice, are one of them, Mostaq Faizi Huzur.

He told the students, you have to study. You have to increase your knowledge. If you have a wealth of information, you can face anything. That is why you have to study a lot. No matter how difficult it is, you will study.

Hasnat Abdullah also said, you all should be humble. Only if you are humble will you grow much. In life, there will be hardships, sometimes fear, sometimes panic. At the end of the day, we have to be established on the truth. May Allah keep us established on the truth.
