Ms Christiana Omonogwu has been confered with a chieftaincy title as ‘“Iye Ebule-Jonu” (Nyéétéé) of Emewe Ward by Atta Igala, HRM Mathew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa 11.
In a colourful ceremony in Idah, family members, friends and well wishes gathered to celebrate with her.
Elders from Emewe -Opada thanked the Attah Igala, HRM, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa (Agaaabaidu) for finding Emewe born daughter worthy of this unique and prestigious title.
They added that the people of the area will continue to cherish the benevolence shown by the respected Agabaidu and the entire traditional institution in Igala land.
They urged her to use her exalted position for the service and progress of the entire Emewe Kingdom with other neighbouring communities and be a good example to emulate.
