Bayelsa United are planning to add six new players to their squad ahead of the second stanza of the 2022/23 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The NPFL newcomers struggled to make an impact in the first half of the season.
The Yenagoa club are currently stuck in the relegation zone.
United are now desperate to fortify their squad to compete well in the second half of the season.
“We want to add five to six quality players ahead of the second half of the season,” head coach, Diepreye Tiebowei told newsmen.
“We need to improve in all areas of the pitch,” he added.
Bayelsa United will take on Rangers FC when the NPFL resume on March 25.
