Bandits attack Sokoto community, kill four, kidnap 18-year-old 

The Sokoto State Police Command has confirmed an attack on a farming community close to Gandi district of the Rabba Local Government Area of the state on Saturday by suspected bandits.

It was gathered that the terrorists attacked the farmers on their farms with dangerous weapons and, in the process, killed four people.

It was also gathered that an 18-year-old girl was abducted during the attack that took place in broad daylight.

However, when News correspondent contacted the spokesman of the command, DSP Sanusi Abubakar, he confirmed the incident.

According to Abubakar, the Divisional Police Officers of Rabba are on top of the situation, promising that more details on the incident will follow soon.

He said, “Yes, we confirmed the incident and we are on top of the situation.

“Details will follow soon,” he said.
