Any leader chosen by God will definitely thrive, Obasanjo says

Olusegun Obasanjo, a former Nigerian president has said that any leaders chosen by God will thrive while the one made by satan is bound to fail.

The former president while speaking at an interactive session on zoom tagged “Boiling Point Arena”, said like God, Satan possess the power to enthrone a leader even though he lacks salvation.

He said that most leaders are prepared by God which gives the chosen one the opportunity to record successes better than one appointed by the devil.

He noted, “And again people saying all leaders are made by God, I don’t accept that. A leader can also be made by Satan.

In the case of Job, you can remember Satan was going up and down and went before God and God was commending Job but Satan said Job was upright to God because he has gotten from God,” Obasanjo stated.

Addressing some of the ills of bad governance faced by Nigerian, the former president said leaders must be on the forefront of genuinely fighting corruption.

He said, “We must accept that Satan is real and he has power, he has no salvation but he has power and the power of Satan must not be underrated.”

Further describing corruption which has bedeviled the nation as hydra-headed obasanjo said that all hands just be on deck to push the country forward.

“It’s not a one day affair. It’s not a one regime affair. It’s not even a two regime affair. It has to be consistent. it has to be continual. It has to be a daily affair. Once one regime is let off, it spreads,” he added.
