‘Reason I Am My Own Brand Ambassador’―Titi Dama, CEO, Braids by Titi, Brighttiss LLC

Not many entrepreneurs can take the bold initiative taken by Titi Dama, CEO of Braids by Titi and Brighttiss LLC, who preferred to be the face of her businesses.
The enterprising young businesswoman confirmed this while responding to a question about her rising brands saying, “at the moment I’m focused on being an ambassador for my brands only,”

Continuing, the beautiful Cameroon-born entrepreneur listed what she considered her “rules of brand ambassadors.”

Said she: “As a brand ambassador, it is compulsory that I regularly promote the brand by being the first customer of the brand and I must continually seek more ways to help the growth or improvement of the brand. Moreover, I should always be a positive example and a source of motivation to the existing and new customers.”

In the same vein, she also listed what brand ambassadors should not do: “Do not break the codes of conduct stipulated in the contract of your ambassadorial status.”

Born Priskeylia Tifu Dama, the high-flying entrepreneur grew up in her native country Cameroon and South Africa before migrating to the United States of America where she now owns two thriving businesses.
The native of Ambazonia, the English-speaking part of the Central African country of Cameroon, regularly flaunts her African heritage.

Of this, she said: “What is the essence of being an African if I cannot portray my heritage away from the continent? The African heritage is beautifully coupled with its rich culture and diversity. I maintain my African heritage by wearing cultural attire, basically promoting everything African and also connecting with the African communities in the particular country I found myself in.”
