Power: Jennifer Adighije takes charge at NDPHC as Shettima inaugurates team

Vice President Kashim Shettima inaugurated the management team of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company, NDPHC, on Thursday, tasking them to ensure the availability of power across the board.

The inauguration took place at the Vice President’s office, with all the management team in attendance.

Recall that President Bola Tinubu recently appointed Ms. Jennifer Adighije as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NDPHC.

Others also appointed to the board are executive directors, including Abdullahi Kassim (Generation), Bello Bello (Networks) and Emmanuel Umeoji (Corporate Services).

Others are Omololu Agoro (Finance and Accounts), Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama (Strategy and Commercial), and Steven Andzenge (Legal Services).

An earlier statement by Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu’s media aide, noted that Adighije, the new NDPHC CEO, holds a master’s degree in Wireless Networks and Telecommunications from Queen Mary University of London, UK, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the University of Lagos, Nigeria.

Ngelale said Tinubu “expects the new members of the management of the company to deploy their expertise and experience to drive NDPHC’s mandate of effectively managing the National Integrated Power Projects.”
