Chelsea could emerge as an option for Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane this summer, according to the Daily Mail.
Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy’s efforts to stop Kane from joining Manchester United could be complicated by Mauricio Pochettino’s imminent appointment by Chelsea.
Kane, who is entering the last year of his contract, would certainly consider a move to Old Trafford.
Spurs value Kane at £100m, but could be tempted to accept less from a foreign club.
However, Pochettino’s arrival at Stamford Bridge to take over from interim boss Frank Lampard, would complicate Tottenham’s attempts to keep Kane.
Pochettino and Kane grew close at Spurs and the Argentine would jump at the chance to work with the England striker again.
