Chelsea’s third signing edges closer to Stamford Bridge after Fofana, Santos

Chelsea are edging closer to wrapping up a deal for Monaco defender, Benoît Badiashile as it emerged the deal has reached the ‘final stages’.

Badiashile will become Chelsea’s third signing of the January transfer window, according to transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano.

Fabrizio disclosed this in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Thursday.

He tweeted: “Chelsea are close to complete their third 2023 signing after Fofana and Andrey Santos: deal at final stages for Benoît Badiashile, all parties feel it will be done soon.

“‘Final bits’ now and then here we go expected. Personal terms in place, Badiashile wants Chelsea.”

Recall that Chelsea confirmed the signing of David Datro Fofana from Molde on Wednesday.

Chelsea are also poised to complete a £12million deal to sign Andrey Santos from Vasco da Gama.
