Akpabio as a beacon of hope, says UK group

The president General Global Peace Movement International,, UK, Dr Mike Uyi said the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio is a beacon of hope to bring about positive legislative changes that will propel the teaming Nigerian younger generation into human resources hub for the benefit of the country.

Uyi gave this commendation in a press statement in Benin, the capital of Edo State Nigeria on Saturday.

He noted that the aspirations and yearnings of the younger generation and the elderly statesmen and women will find actualisation.

“Our resolute is informed by Senator Akpabio’s pedigree and evidential antecedence.”

“The excellent and uncommon performances recorded by Senator Akpabio in public services, from local government, state and federal government, his legal knowledge and experience plus, his experience in the red chambers and a Minority Leader in his first outing as a Senator during the 8th Senate are all that have characterized his present position of a transparent leader”.

The statement reads:

We at Global Peace Movement International, UK hereby state that we are impressed with the current leadership of the 10th Senate under the transparent leadership of Senator Godswill Akpabio.

We also call on the generality of Nigerians to rally round the current leadership in their avowed commitment to making life meaningful and bearable to Nigerians through human faced legislation.

GPMI also commend the Senate President’s meticulous approach in assembling a leadership team that embraces the principles of unity and fairness. By including individuals from diverse backgrounds and affiliations, Senator Akpabio has reinforced the spirit of democracy within the Senate,fostering an environment where all voices are heard and reflected.
