Ajaokuta Reps member lauds Governor Ododo over launch ofmetropolitan quick response security outfit

The Member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, has commended the Kogi state governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, over the launch of the metropolitan quick response, to tackle the new wave of insecurity in the state.

In a statement personally signed by the lawmaker, he described the move as giant stride among others, which he said is a testament to the fact that he has started fulfilling his campaign promises to the people of the state.

He noted that, this initiative is not only thoughtful but laudable because it came at a time when the nation is going through an upsurge of insecurity, adding that the initiative will help strengthen the security architecture of the state and curb the menace of insecurity.

He said as the member representing the good people of Ajaokuta federal constituency, “I promise to work assiduously with you as coincidentally, my constituency shares 16-kilometre radios with the state capital, lokoja.

I write to convey my profound appreciation to you following your recent commissioning of the metropolitan quick response initiative in partnership with the rapid response squad of the Nigeria police joint task force at Kogi State Government House, lokoja.

“The recent giant stride among others is a testament to the fact that you have started fulfilling your campaign promises.

This initiative is not only thoughtful but laudable because it came at a time when the nation is going through an upsurge of insecurity.
However, this recent initiative will help strengthen the security of the state and curb the menace of insecurity.

“As the member representing the good people of Ajaokuta federal constituency, I promise to work assiduously with you as coincidentally, my constituency shares 16-kilometre radios with the state capital, lokoja.

“In addition, my constituents are joyous and also convey their heartfelt appreciation as they are certain this initiative will be beneficial to them.
