Barcelona players are facing a 50 percent pay-cut demand from the board, according to Mundo Deportivo.
This is due to the Catalans’ financial situation and pressure from the LaLiga over their wage ceiling.
The Barca board is now asking the players to accept slashes in their salary.
Players, who recently renewed their contracts, like Pedri and Ansu Fati, will be exempted, along with their January arrivals.
However, along with the club’s leadership group, all other squad members will be told to accept 50 percent pay-cuts or leave.
Barca are looking to add several new players this summer, but currently cannot register their players due to LaLiga financial controls.
