A Court of Appeal has reaffirmed that Julius Abure remains the bonafide national chairman of the Labour Party (LP).
The decision of the court was disclosed by the party on its official X account on Friday, January 17, 2025.
Labour Party wrote on X, “Barr Julius Abure remains the LP National Chairman, Appeal Court Rules”
The decision of the appellate court comes after a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja delivered a judgement on Abure’s position as the national chairman of the party.
The lower court in its judgement said Abure is the rightful chairman of the party.
