Speaking after the presentation of the book, โ€œTribulations and Trophies, Bola Ajibola in His Own Words!โ€, Fagbemi urged Nigerians to quit being emotional about Court decisions.

He urged the people to focus on the provisions of the law in seeking interpretation of judicial matters.

His words, โ€œWhen issues like this come up, people should go and read very well and get themselves familiar with what the law says.

โ€œItโ€™s not a matter of sentiment or emotions, but a matter of basic facts on the ground.

โ€œNigerians should stop interpreting the law based on political partisanship, but letโ€™s stick to the law,โ€ Fagbemi stated.

Speaking on the declaration of a State of Emergency in Rivers State by the President, the AGF said he has decided to remain neutral on the matter.

โ€œAnd I know that this matter has been subjected to judicial scrutiny and let us allow the court to make its decision one way or the other.

โ€œSince we have subjected the matter to court interpretation, letโ€™s wait for the judiciary to make its pronouncement,โ€ he added.
