The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has commiserated with the former President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki, over the death of his mother, Mrs Florence Morenike Saraki.
Wike, who spoke when he paid a condolence visit to the residence of the former Senate President in Abuja on Friday, said: “As a believer of God, we all know that there will be a day that we will all leave. She has come, she has played her role, she has left and I know she will be with the Almighty God.
“Our prayer is that God should fortify you and your siblings and the entire family, give you that courage to live and go ahead with doing things.”
Accompanying the minister during the visit were former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Prince Chibudum Nwuche, and Senator Philip Aduda, amongst others.
