Your Tribunal Victory: An affirmation of the wishes of Kogi people, Kogi NUP chairman tells Governor Ododo

… says victory is for Kogi pensioners.

The State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Engr. Clement Ohida has said that the Tribunal victory of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is an affirmation of the wishes of the Kogi people who voted overwhelmingly for him in the November 11 governorship election in the state.

He noted that the massive votes scored by Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo in the Election, was the wishes and aspiration of Kogi State Pensioners, particularly, those at the Local Government level.

In a congratulatory message to the Governor on his resounding tribunal victory at the Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja, Engr. Ohida said the truth has prevailed, adding that it was and answered prayers of the Pensioners at the Local Government answered.

The NUP described the Tribunal victory as a testament to the fact that the people of the state overwhelmingly “gave you their mandate during the governorship elections of 11th November, 2023”.

‘Your Excellency, you have started the race very well and the entire Pensioners and the entire state is better for it in terms of prompt and 100% payment of pension at the Local Government level.

The State Chairman said Pensioners at the Local Government level are all prepared and ready to key into the programmes and policies of the present administration that is geared towards overall transformation of the state”.

“The Tribunal Judgment is only a confirmation and affirmation of the People’s Yearning, Expectations for good governance”.

” We were sure that you possessed the capacity. You have proven that Kogi is in safe hands. The Judgment has sealed the lies of naysayers. God is truly involved and Kogi State is on the march to greatness under your leadership”

NUP assured Gov. Ododo that the Tribunal victory which is a victory for the Pensioners would spur him to do more, pointing out that the Governor would surpass the People’s expectations.

He also commended the Governor for appointing past labour leaders like the former NLC chairman, Comrade Onuh Edoka and others in key positions in his administration.

NUP wished Govovern Ododo good health and more wisdom as he continues to pilot the affairs of the State in good health and prosperity.
