President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Friday, returned to Nigeria after attending the 78th United Nations General Assembly, which ended last week.
In the past week, Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media, has been silent on the location of Tinubu, who reportedly departed New York on September 22.
Tinubu’s whereabouts were unknown for nearly a week until he returned to Nigeria on Friday night, although unconfirmed reports claimed that he flew to Paris from New York.
At the just concluded UNGA, the Nigerian leader addressed the General Assembly and called on world leaders to join African nations in tackling its challenges.
Tinubu, as Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States, ECOWAS, solicited help to re-establish democratic governance in a manner that addresses the political and economic challenges confronting that nation, including the violent extremists who seek to foment instability in the region.
Accordingly, the President also met with Investors in the U.S. on the need to boost foreign investment in Nigeria.
He met with Nigerians in the U.S., urging them to be good ambassadors of the country.
