Wilfred Ndidi is enjoying his new position within the Leicester City team.
Ndidi, who is a defensive midfielder, has been moved high up the field by Italian manager, Enzo Maresca this season.
The 26-year-old has rewarded Marescaโs faith by adapting to the new position.
The Nigerian has scored thrice for the former Premier League champions this season.
Ndidi won the penalty that was converted by Jamie Vardy for the Foxes winning goal against Bristol City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.
Ndidi credited Maresca for his impressive displays this season.
โKudos to the manager because heโs trying to help me understand the role. Heโs trying to help me,โ he told the clubโs official website.
โThe guys who naturally play in that role are helping me too. Itโs a process. Itโs going well, but Iโll keep going. Itโs very interesting because I try to get in the box more often. Iโve always had it but itโs taken Enzo to make me know Iโve actually got it. Heโs trying to push me.โ
