Remo Stars forward Samuel Anakwe won the man of the match award in their matchday 10 encounter against Nasarawa United on Sunday.
Anakwe scored the decisive goal in the hard-fought 1-0 win at the Remo Stars Stadium.
The striker fired home with an acrobatic finish in the 16th minute.
He was in action for the entire duration of the game.
Remo Stars moved up to fifth position with 17 points from 10 games following the win.
Daniel Onigbinde’s side will travel away to Maiduguri for their next game against El-Kanemi Warriors on Wednesday.
