Akwa United boss, Ayeni reveals NPFL ambition

Akwa United coach, Ayodeji Ayeni, has said his team is working tirelessly to secure a spot in the Nigeria Premier Football League Super Six tournament.

The Promise Keepers are currently third on the Group A table with 15 points from nine matches.

Ayeni stated that his players are hungry to achieve their collective goal of playing in the Super Six.

โ€œWe are working tirelessly to maintain to secure a spot in the Super Six,โ€ Ayeni said in a chat with news correspondent.

โ€œWe are hungry to earn that Super Six spot, and we will work hard to achieve our objective.

โ€œIt is not going to be easy but we believe it is something that is achieveable and we also have the quality to do it.โ€

The Promise Keepers will take on Shooting Stars at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Sunday.
