Doma United coach, Akinade Onigbinde has ruled out a possible transfer of striker Charles Chubike away from the club.
Chubike has been one of the most sought-after forwards since the opening of the Nigeria Premier League mid-season transfer window.
Onigbinde disclosed to newsmen that he is confident that the talismanic forward will remain with the club for the second stanza of the season.
“Chubuike is a very good player and an asset to our team,” the gaffer stated during a chat with DAILY POST.
“He won’t be leaving Doma United as he is currently working hard ahead of the start of the second half of the season.”
The Gombe club are making their maiden appearance in the NPFL.
