Ligue 1 club, Lorient have turned down a £15 million offer from Premier League side, Southampton for their forward, Terem Moffi.
According to Skysports TV, Lorient are willing to sell the Nigeria international but want more cash.
Southampton are desperate to reinforce their attack during the current window and are keen to bring in Moffi to the St Mary’s Stadium.
The Saints currently occupy last position on the table and believe Moffi’s s goals can lift them out of relegation trouble.
A number of other Premier League clubs including West Ham United, Aston Villa and Brighton & Hove Albion are also reportedly interested in the Nigeria international.
The 23-year-old has scored 10 goals in 16 league appearances for Lorient this season.
