Total Child Model School Celebrates End Of Year Party In Glamour

Total Child Model School, Abuja, at the weekend held its end of year party amidst funfair and glamour. The pupils and their parents were thrilled as well as their teachers.

The annual party, which held at the school’s premises, was attended by well-wishers of the school.

Pupils of the school could not hide their feelings as they danced to music of their choice while their teachers and parents supported them in a colourful manner.

The director of the school, Nelson Lucky Uwabor said education is the bedrock of any society, hence our resolve to be committed to the total wellbeing and wholesome nurturing of your children and wards under our care. Due to our belief in qualitative and functional education, the school is well staffed with qualified and experienced teachers to bring out the best in your children/wards.

“We want to bring out the talents of the kids either hidden or open, that is why we are making it fun for them so that they realize they can do it themselves,’’ Uwabor said.

He said the management of the school is glad with the academic result of the students, assuring that the school would continue to improve on its standard.

“Last, our WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and junior WAEC results were outstanding. This year, the exams are ongoing. Our pupils also wrote the National Common Entrance examinations and performed creditably well”.

On the ICT and e-learning platform Uwabor noted that the school has allowed all students to partake in the program and it has been a great achievement for the school.

“In the year under review, the school won the eight edition of the Powerforward annual basketball league competition. The male team came first position and won the gold medal after beating Government Seconder School, Karu, while the female team came third position and won the bronze medal”

Also as part of the academics progress, Uwabor announced that the school in affiliation with the Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa now runs and offers admission into PDE and NCE programs, both on full time and part-time basis.
