Ola: Ibrahim Idris’ Contributions to Kogi Will Endure

Ustaz Abubakar Zakari Ola, a senatorial aspirant in the last All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial primary election in Kogi West, has paid tribute to the former Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, describing his death as a major loss to the state.

Ola said the late governor’s years in public service, particularly his contributions to the political and developmental evolution of Kogi State, had secured a place for him in the history of the state.

In a condolence message, Ola described Idris as a prominent political figure whose tenure and public service would remain part of the state’s historical narrative.

He said the death of the former governor was a moment of grief for the Idris family, his associates, the political class and the people of Kogi State.

Ola urged the bereaved family and those who mourned the former governor to take solace in his years of service to the state and the country.

He prayed Allah to forgive Idris’ shortcomings, grant him Al-Jannatul Firdaus and give his family the fortitude to bear the loss.
