President Bola Tinubu has celebrated his wife, First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday, describing her as his “truest friend and confidante” who has stood by him through every season of life.
In a personal birthday message marking her birthday on September 21, Tinubu praised the First Lady for her patience, courage, honesty and steadfast support over the years.
The President recalled how Oluremi remained calm and prayerful during difficult periods and often offered counsel, sometimes even before he asked for it.
Tinubu also commended her devotion to their children and grandchildren, saying her faith, kindness and prayers had shaped their family.
He highlighted her humanitarian interventions through the New Era Foundation and the Renewed Hope Initiative, saying they had supported young people, widows, elderly Nigerians and women farmers across the country.
Reflecting on their journey together, the President said their years had been marked by sacrifices, difficult decisions, laughter and prayer.
“If life returned me to the beginning, I would choose the same road that led me to you,” Tinubu said.
He prayed for the First Lady to enjoy many more years of good health, happiness and fulfilment.
“Happy 66th birthday, my darling Oluremi. I pray that God Almighty will grant you many more years in good health and joy,” the President added.
