The Committee of friends, Ogaminana has hailed the scholarly achievement of the Vice chancellor of Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, Professor, Engineer Abdulrahaman Salawu Asipita as he delivered the 133 inaugural lecture at the Federal University of Technology, Minna
Delivering the lecture titled “Nature to Nature: The Miracle of Materials Longevity,” the professor of materials and metallurgical engineering explored the durability and lifecycle of engineering materials, highlighting how scientific innovation can enhance sustainability through improved material performance and recycling.

He underscored the importance of aligning materials engineering with environmental preservation, noting that nature-inspired solutions remain key to long-term resilience.

The Professor’s lecture was widely described as intellectually stimulating, combining deep research insights with practical applications relevant to industry and national development.

Reacting to the lecture, the Committee of Friends, Ogaminana, in a congratulatory message signed by its President, Alhaji Suleiman Isah Asuku, and Secretary, Hon. Musa Ohiani, lauded Prof. Asipita for what they described as a milestone achievement in his academic career.
