Olagoke Bode Inducted as Associate Member of NIPR After Years of Delay

Media professional and public relations practitioner, Bode Olagoke, has been formally inducted as an Associate Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).

The induction ceremony held today at the NIPR national headquarters in Abuja.

The development marks a major milestone in Olagoke’s career within Nigeria’s communication, media, and development sectors. Reflecting on the journey, he described the moment as a long-awaited breakthrough, expressing gratitude to God, the year 2025, and the Institute for the eventual approval of his membership.

Olagoke, who bears the professional designations ficad and anipr, has built a reputation in journalism and strategic communication through his work with Blueprint Newspapers and his active contributions to institutions and community groups, including NUJ-FCT Council, Okeho Parapo, Kajola New Era, and Kajola Development Okeho.

Colleagues and stakeholders have continued to send congratulatory messages, describing the honour as well-deserved given his years of service in public affairs reporting, strategic communication, and community development advocacy.

The ceremony in Abuja gathered communication experts, academics, and practitioners committed to strengthening professionalism and ethical standards within Nigeria’s public relations industry.

With his induction, Olagoke is expected to further expand his engagement in PR practice, leveraging his extensive media and community-based experience.

Celebrating the achievement, he offered a brief but heartfelt message:
