As part of it’s cardinal principles in the order to show fraternal love, assistance and pray for each other, the Knight of St. Mulumba Nigeria, Abuja Metro Council has resolved to extend a helping hand to one of it’s own, Sister Professor Ebele, a widow of over 20 years currently undergoing weekly dialysis due to some kidney malfunction.
In a press release by the Metro Public Relations Officer, Sir Hilary Kwapyong KSM said this formed part of the discussion at the just concluded Metro quarterly meeting hosted by the Makurdi/ Gboko zone at Gboko, Benue State.
He said the Metro Grand Knight, Sir Micheal Aule KSM who presided over the meeting request that members respond positively in donating to the wellbeing of Sister Ebele.
“The WMGK directed that all those who were absent due to one reason or the other should immediately make their own contributions individually and collectively through their various sub councils to the Metro Council within one week so that the total amount collected will be forwarded to Sister Ebele”.
Responding, the Grand Knight of Gwagwalada Sub Council, Sir Professor Innocent Isah Ekoja the sub Council of the sick widow, thanked the WMGK for initiating such a gesture that will alleviate the current medical situation of the sick sister. Special prayers were offered for her quick recovery.
