Keffi emir turban Chinese citizen(Wakilin Rays kasan Keffi) to foster relation

The Emir of Keffi, Shehu Chindo Yamusa III, has conferred the traditional tittle of Wakilin Raya kasa Keffi to Martins Long, a Chinese citizen owing to his developmental initiative.

The ceremony took place over the weekend at the emir’s palace, Keffi, had in attendance dignitaries and friends of the celebrant from across the state, Nigeria and those from the Chinese community.

Dr Shehu Yamusa111, said the traditional tittle on the Chinese nationale was aimed at Fostering the existing relationship and to built bridges between Nigeria and other countries, particularly China,while he called on the celebrant(Martins Long) to justify the confidence reposed on him to continue his humanitarian service to the people.

Also speaking, the district head of Keffi town, Shamsudeen Abubakar Maikasuwa, commended the emir for recognizing Martins Long for the traditional tittle, saying that it is inline with his community development through the renovation of primary school and also acquired land to build specialist hospital in Keffi.

On his part, the newly turbaned Chinese citizen, thank the monarch of Keffi, the people and Nasarawa State government for recognizing his contribution to develop the state , saying by turbaning him as one among the very respected traditional tittle holders in keffi,it will spur him to investing more and will also attract his Chinese friends and partners to investing in keffi and the state at large.

METRO DAILY NIGERIA report that the event of the turbaning of the Chinese citizen,by the keffi emirate council,was a limeline achievement in the history of the emirate council under the leadership of Dr Shehu Chindo Yamusa 111, with few years on throne,as this was inline with the policy thrust of the state governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule,whose drive for industrializing the state is eminent in the life of his administration.
