APC Rally: Nasarawa deputy Gov, state chairman woos electorates

Nasarawa state, Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe has expressed confidence in the ability of Doma local government Chairmanship candidate, Architect Ahmed Sarki Usman, to deliver on the mandate of the people if voted into office.

He made the remarks while leading the APC Chairmanship campaign train to Doma Tuesday.

Dr. Emmanuel Akabe while wooing the support of the people of Doma and surrounding communities for the APC chairmanship and councillorship candidates on the platform of the party expressed optimism that they will make a difference if given the mandate.

Flanked by the APC caretaker Chairman, John Mamman and other notable stakeholders of the party, the state deputy governor reminded people of the area of the benefits of voting all the party’s candidates in the forthcoming local council election, saying as the highest beneficiaries of the Engineer Abdullahi Sule administration, Doma will continue to get the much desired attention from government.

While calling for the return of the famous ‘Doma Votes’ to give the APC overwhelming lead in the polls, Dr. Akabe pledged readiness of the present administration to Flag off Doma-Agbashi road construction, adding that epileptic power supply will be a thing of the past as one of the power lines of the nearly completed Akurba transmission substation is dedicated to Doma local government area.

APC caretaker chairman, John Mamman appreciated the warm reception given by people of the area, saying it goes to show that Doma is a support base of the APC and sued for its sustenance, just as Member of the state Assembly, John Osewu used the medium to appeal for adequate security beef up along Idadu-Agbashi road and other prone areas to enable people to come out enmass to vote in the local government election.

Speaker after speaker including the leadership of the party, women and youths in the area as well as son of late former Governor of the state, Ahmed Aliyu Doma, cautioned against repeating mistakes of the past where the party suffered defeat, pledging his camp’s unreserved loyalty and support. The APC equally received the support of the Igbo community in Doma.
