The Kano state Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has charged Muslims ummah to fervently pray ceaselessly for peace and tranguillity in the state and Country at large.
The Governor give the charge in his sallah messages to Muslims ummah in Karaye Emirates on the occasion of the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje who was represented by the commissioner for Tourism and Culture Alh Ibrahim Ahmed Karaye (Madakin Karaye) enjoined Muslim in the area to inculcate moral behavior and discipline as enshrine in the Qur’an and teaching of the holy prophet to ensure love and peaceful coexistence to one another.
He also reminded them to put in practice all the teaching and good deeds learned during the Ramadan period in our day today activities for Allah’s blessings and forgiveness.
In a press release by Ismail Garba Gwammaja, CPRO Ministry of Tourism, the Governor expressed appreciation for the Karaye Emirates and entire people in the area for their orderliness through out the conduct of the Eld-el-fitr prayer and other activities which is worthy of emulation.
He then prayed for the lasting peace, unity and progress as well as hitch free sallah festivity in the area and Country as a whole.
