Students, Workers Stranded in Kano as Tricyclists Embark on Strike

Scores of Kano Residents were on Monday morning thrown into confusion following a Strike action by tricycle operators popularly known as Adaidaita Sahu.

Students and workers who patronizes commercial tricycle as means of transportation were left stranded and helpless on the State Streets due to the Strike.

The strike came after the tricycle operators could not find a common ground between them and the State Government on issues of tax which the Tricyclists describe as multiple taxation.

However, there is ongoing tension between the Somme of the Tricyclists who defy the strike oder and those who are making sure everyone member comply with the order.
