The Centre for Information Technology and Development, (CITAD) on Wednesday presented the profile of young female digital entrepreneurs from Northern Nigeria trained earlier in the area of digital livelihood which trained them on ICT business skills.

The Senior Program Officer of the Centre, Isa Garba, while presenting the entrepreneurs said, CITAD after the training, also assisted the trainees in registering their companies with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and are presently doing great in their different businesses.

” As part of our sustainability plan to keep record and keep the ecosystem going, we decided to develop a profile of each of them.

This personal profile shows their journey of where they were before the training, where they are now and their various businesses”.

According to him, the it is a well known knowledge that most businesses have moved from physical to digital and in an attempt to address the low participation of Northerners in such area, it is hoped that these first class of female entrepreneurs will spur others to join the trend.

He said CITAD will distribute the profiles across the country both hard copies, and via online through which many will come to know about them and patronize their businesses either directly or through the Centre.

Aina’u Sarki Sani, a B.S.c holder trained by Centre for Information Technology and Development is now the MD/ CEO of Native Essence General Enterprise.
