Musa said, “These are just rumours aimed at deterring electorates from voting for our candidate Abdulmajid Lawal.

“But we want to state categorically clear that our candidate has not stepped down for anybody, and let me even stress that non of our candidates have stepped down for anybody.

According the ADC chairman who was a gubernatorial candidate in the 2011 and 2015 elections, “You know the electoral umpire has said no more campaigns, but we are not campaigning, we are just trying to get things straight, so that our supporters and the electorate are not misled.

“In the first place, why would our candidate who is a very vibrant young man, who has taken time and spent resources to canvass for votes within his constituency withdraw; it unthinkable.
