The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to disqualify the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, President Muhammadu Buhari in the forthcoming 2019 elections.

Secondus pinned his reason to the recent presidential rally held in Kano on Thursday, made up of foreigners from neighbouring counties like Niger and Chad who were not Nigerians.

Speaking on Friday during the Presidential campaign rally at Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium, Abakaliki, in Ebonyi state, Secondus cited that those foreign mercenaries were top government functionaries like governors and presidents of the two neighbouring counties, among the fake crowd that were at the event.
He described Buhari’s rally as “the worst political outing since the history of the nation.

“Let me inform INEC, that what we witnessed yesterday at Buhari’s rally in Kano is the worse that ever happened since the history of this country, where mecenaries and government officials like governors and President of other countries came in with their citizens from Niger Republic and Chad”.

“INEC better be warned, you cannot rig this elections; we have won these elections, every where we have been, we have attracted more youth and women than APC”.

On his part the Presidential candidate of PDP, Alh. Atiku Abubakar, appealed to the people of Ebonyi state to vote for all the PDP candidates at the forthcoming elections.
He promised that if elected his administration will not maginalize the state.
While commending the Governor of Ebonyi state, David Umahi, for his achievements and commitment, he called on PDP faithfuls to defend their votes at the poll.

On his part Gov. Umahi gave the assurance that Ebonyi state is PDP, describing those stating otherwise as mischief makers.
He called on the people of Ebonyi state to vote for Atiku and Obi at the forthcoming elections.

Lending her voice, Mrs Jennifer Abubakar, wife of the presidential candidate of PDP, Alh. Atiku Abubakar, expressed her confidence in the duo of Atiku and Obi mandate to deliver the dividends of democracy to electorate in Ebonyi state.
