President Muhammadu Buhari has suspended the embattled Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Walter Onnoghen.
The President immediately swore in Justice Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed as the acting CJN.
The swearing-in ceremony held on Friday evening at Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa.
Buhari said his action was sequel to an order from the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) dated 23rd January, 2019.
