𝗕𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗟𝗦𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳: 𝗔𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗡𝗜 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛𝗦 𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗘 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗨𝗠 — 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗬 𝗡𝗘𝗚𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗘 𝗢𝗥 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗧𝗢𝗧𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗢𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗘𝗞𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗥 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗬 𝟯

The 𝗔𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲’𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 has officially delivered an uncompromising petition to top political leadership, demanding the 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗿. 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗡𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲 as the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer for 𝗘𝗸𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝟯 ahead of the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. The youth group warned that failure to withdraw his candidacy would lead to a total and irreversible collapse of the party’s fortunes in the constituency.

In a strongly worded press statement, the leadership of the forum voiced extreme grievances over what they termed an “untenable situation” that threatens local peace and the political survival of the ruling party in the constituency.
The Chairman of the Alabini People’s Forum, Moses Ebi, issued a damning indictment regarding security and safety in the area:

“Mr. Berry Negerese has turned our peaceful communities into volatile war zones. By sponsoring armed gangs, he has unleashed a wave of terror across Bilabiri and the entire Dodo River axis. He rules not by popular consent, but through fear, blood, and intimidation, dragging the APC’s name deeper into the mud every single day he remains the party’s candidate.”

Adding to the heavy allegations, the Secretary of the forum, Ebikabowei Wuruimelemo, accused the candidate of systemic economic exploitation and undermining community development:

“For over a decade, Mr. Negerese has personally hijacked the Dodo River Communities Rural Development Association (an affiliate of the Dodo RDA). He has diverted billions of naira meant for critical local development into his private pockets. To sustain this illegal monopoly, he has installed his own brother as his successor, cementing a corrupt family dynasty over our shared community resources. This is organized crime disguised as governance.”

Adams further added:
“He continues to falsely parade himself as a national leader of oil host communities, using this deceptive title to siphon off lucrative contracts. Meanwhile, the actual oil-bearing communities he claims to represent are sinking deeper into abject poverty. He has stolen opportunities from our youths, strangled local progress, and left our people in darkness. He stands today as the absolute embodiment of corruption.”

The forum explicitly warned that fielding Mr. Negerese is tantamount to political suicide, effectively handing victory to the opposition before the first ballot is cast. They noted that the APC risks being remembered as a party that chose corruption over the welfare of its people.

The Alabini youths have formally petitioned 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿, 𝗦𝗲𝗻. 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝘆𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗶; 𝗔𝗣𝗖 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗡𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘄𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘀𝗵𝘄𝗲 𝗬𝗶𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗱𝗮; 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗣𝗖 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻, 𝗥𝘁. 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗪𝗲𝗿𝗶 𝗢𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗮, 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲𝘀. Their demand is straightforward: immediately withdraw Negerese’s candidacy and launch a full-scale investigation into his activities.

The statement concluded with a definitive ultimatum: if the APC insists on keeping Berry Negerese on the ballot, the Alabini youths and the wider Ekeremor electorate will fully mobilize against the party at the polls. The forum declared that the community will no longer allow “an empire of violence and fraud” to dictate its future, vowing to shift their massive voting bloc to an alternative political party if the leadership fails to act.
